In June 2013, the Gifu Prefecture Government ordered BK 117C-2 to conduct a disaster relief operation for the Gifu Air Rescue Team. The city of Kobe made reservations for BK 117C-2 in October 2013. Helicopters will be deployed in disaster relief operations.
