Avicopter AC352 Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price – Avicopter AC352 is a multi-purpose class 7 civilian helicopter designed and developed jointly by Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and Airbus Helicopters. This helicopter was first introduced at the China Helicopter Expo in Tianjin in September 2015. The AC352 helicopter made its maiden flight in Harbin in Heilongjiang province, China, in December 2016.

AC352 helicopters can be operated to carry out various civil aviation missions including search and rescue (SAR), medical assistance, as well as transportation of personnel and goods. It will be commercialized to provide services for the government and private sectors in the Chinese domestic market. AVIC plans to introduce a military version of the AC352 helicopter in the near future.

The design of the AC352 fuselage is based on the H175 helicopter produced by the Airbus Helicopter. The AC352 helicopter is powered by two WZ16 turboshaft engines developed by Safran Group in partnership with CAPI and Dongan from Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC). Each engine can produce a maximum output power of 2,000 hp. The engine features a compact modular architecture and consumes 10% less fuel compared to other engines in its class.

With the support of the WZ16 engine, the AC352 helicopter has a maximum speed of 315 km / h and a cruising speed of 285 km / h. The helicopter can fly to a maximum height of 5,720 m and a maximum distance of 1,250 km. Helikppter has an empty weight of 4,750kg and a maximum take-off weight of 8,000 kg.
